GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. Thanks to all who entered!
Happy Sew Mama Sew Giveaway Day! I'm excited to join in, because this is also my first giveaway since I started the blog!
I'm giving away not one, but two things. First up:
A green batik Winding Ways wallhanging! It measures at 30" x 30". I loved making this, but tucked it away right after I finished it, because we just don't have a spot for it in our home. I'm hoping someone else does!
Second:
The Winding Ways quilt book and template set. Want to make your own Winding Ways quilt? One of the coolest things about learning to make this is that you'll learn how to piece curves really easily. Two pins is all it takes! While it's a very traditional pattern, I can totally see making this into something modern.
You can win two ways-- first, leave a comment on this post and say which prize you'd like (quilt or book and templates). Get an additional entry by following my blog! Don't forget to include your email in your comment! International entries are totally welcome, and I'll keep comments open through May 20th.

Such a pretty quilt. I would love to hang it on my wall, but will still have to prefer to win the book, because I love to sew :)
Your first giveaway! Yay! I love that wallhanging. The colors are awesome!
The quilt is lovely...but I'd have to go with the book/templates so I can give it a try myself!

Wow! A quilt? Fabulous! Thanks for the great giveaway!
Wow, beautiful quilt. I love it. Thanks for the chance to win.
I would love to win the wallhanging. i don't have anything quilted that someone has made for me.
I love the quilt, but I'd also love to make my own version of it. I can't decide which one I want more!
I'm also going to become a follower of your blog based on how much I love the colors in that quilt (and the one in the picture at the top of the blog).
Wow - how to decide... but I think the deal was clinched when I read "a practically pinless approach" as the bi-line to the book. Now that is a kind of sewing I need to know more about!!!
Thanks so much for the very generous giveaway and the chance to win.
ooo, tough choice. I'm going with quilt, since it is completed and bound already. That doesn't happen often around here! Thanks Krista!
Ya know I'm already following!
I really love the wall hanging and it would look great in my house!! Going to have a look at you other creations now.....
Count me in on your generous giveaway - both gifts are wonderful, especially the beautiful quilt you created~
What a generous giveaway! Your quilt is gorgeous, but I'd like to enter for the book and templates, please, because I'd like to learn an easy way of piecing curves.

I think the quilt is very pretty, but if I had to choose I think I would like the book. I am a fairly new quilter and I'd love to learn about curved piecing as I haven't done that yet.
Thanks for the giveaway!
sign me up for that gorgous quilt!
How wonderful! I would just love to win that quilt - it's beautiful! And I haven't been bold enough to try my own hand at quilting yet...
I'd love the quilt! I'd like to learn curved piecing someday but I don't think it'll be any time this year... too much else going on! Thanks for the giveaway!

Oh my I would love to take that quilt off of your hands for you!! I can find a perfect spot in my home if I win!! appleshae@hotmail.com
There is plenty of room in my house for that beauty! (definitely prefer over the templates and pattern because I am the pokiest quilter on earth and I'm so far behind I'll never finish all the projects I've already started!)
I think I'd like the book and templates (I'd love to learn curves), but I'm sure I could find a place for the wall quilt! It's gorgeous.
Both are wonderful prizes, but I am partial to batiks. I'd love to have the gorgeous wallhanging!!!
I would love trying my hand at making one myself... but I KNOW that my mother would love that wall hanging: so I choose wall hanging (if I were lucky enough to win). Thank you for the generous giveaway!

willa.mcneill@gmail.com
What a hard decision! I guess though I'd choose the book and template set because I have some material that I think would look great in this pattern.
Love it!!! I took a class from the book's author years ago - but never bought it, so I'd love the books/templates.
My goodness you have given me a hard choice! I love the quilt and the colors and everything about it! But I really think this pattern is one that my husband would like, so I could use the book and templates to make one big enough for our bed. I think that would have to be my choice, the book. Thanks for the great giveaway!
oh my gosh. the quilt is stunning. i would LOVE to win that. my toddler loves quilts, and i have been wanting to make a wall hanging for her room. but, i have a toddler! projects take longer and right now i just can't swing it with all i am already doing. everyone in our house loves the color green and that would look gorgeous in her room.
