all is well

Despite a few delays, Cooper's surgery went as well as could be. We're back home and his personality is still intact! He had epidural pain control, so I know that's helping quite a bit right now. Thank you so much for all of the well wishes and advice.

I received some requests on how to do that cathedral window technique. I did end up completing a block while we waited for Cooper today, and could have completed a couple more if I hadn't thought we'd be called to recovery at any minute. So I am even more sold than I was before that this is the way to go. Pending a go-ahead from the guild member who taught our group the technique, I'll start drafting up a tutorial and hope to have it up soon.

You should prob check with the author of Cathedral Windows Quilts, Lynne Edwards as it is a technique in her book.
