one more down, plus my first giveaway

I finshed my first mini quilt swap today. This is completion #4 for Spring to Finish! The theme was "black and white plus one color, not square"-- quite a mouthful! Since it's not a secret swap, here's a sneak peek.

Clouds and wind have taken over the sunny skies here in Anchorage, but I am still so excited that summer is on its way. We had a lawn crew come and do yard cleanup today, and upon seeing the 12 huge bags of thatch and leaves that are now at the end of the driveway, I quickly called a junk truck to come haul it away. I'm definitely feeling that desire to spring clean. With that, I've also decided to purge my project stash a bit by joining Sew Mama Sew's Giveaway Day next week! I've got a finished quilt, plus the book and templates for making said quilt, ready to go to homes where they will be loved and appreciated. So come join me for details on Monday!
