We're back from vacation and get this-- I've actually been sewing! It feels so good to be back in the swing of things!
This week I'm giving away a hard copy of the book Modern Quilts from the Blogging Universe to two of you as part of my stop on the book tour with Martingale.
My quilt, Everything's Coming Up Rainbows, has been warming Avery's bed every night since it returned home. It was such a fun one to design and sew. I've been so excited to see other people making it too! It looks so different every time.
I have so many favorites from other designers that I'm still hoping to make.

What a wonderful book! I started quilting almost 30 yrs ago but I've been on a hiatus from serious quilting for quite some time. I've gotten back into the swing of things and I'm thrilled with all of the modern quilts out there! Now I have to play catch-up and sew a couple or a dozen!
