I joined in the
Trim the Tree Handmade Ornament Swap again this year. And like every year, I struggled with what to make! Everyone in the swap is making such amazing stuff. I finally settled on something fun but not too Christmassy-- hot air balloons!
Each one was made with my four partners' preferences in mind. It was fun picking out little bits of fabrics for each balloon.
I had so much fun making these that I've decided to share the pattern and tutorial next week. Stay tuned!
Krista -these are just adorable! I am sure that they will be treasured.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness--my sister is in the process of adopting and she's chosen to do the nursery based on this cute print she found on etsy of little animals in hot air balloons (I know it sounds random, but they're so cute!) Now I see this and I've GOT to make her a little garland of cute hot air balloons out of the leftover quilt material for baby's bedding. You are awesome, Krista! I will impatiently wait on the tutorial... ;)
