what I've been working on this Christmas

Forgive me for not posting in ages, and not keeping the promise that I would at least try to do some recap posts about all of the great things that I've received or experienced over the last couple of months. A little something has had me a bit under the weather:

Baby #4 is set to arrive next summer. I remembered all too well from my past pregnancies how much "morning" sickness sucks, but I still wasn't prepared for the way it totally took me out of commission this go round. I haven't sewn a thing in weeks. I haven't even gone into my sewing room. There have been days where I've barely made it off the couch. Luckily I'm starting to see the light at the end of the first trimester tunnel, and feeling a bit better. Which is a good thing, because it's been hard keeping up with this birthday boy:

At two years old, Cooper is a smart and funny little guy. His great loves right now are Star Wars (he pretends to be Luke Skywalker and use a vacuum attachment for a lightsaber- pew pew!), Cookie Monster, Coldplay, spatulas, books, and ice cream. He counts to 13 (skipping numbers 4 and 11) and talks non-stop. It will be fun to see how he changes over the next year.

Merry Christmas! I hope all is well with your families and that you have a safe and beautiful remainder of the holiday season.

congratulations! I know exactly how you feel about morning sickness. My number 4 is coming in 3 weeks, and she has sure taken a toll on me. I get still feel like I get soooo little done in a day.

Congratulations! My Number 4 was my worst pregnancy. It was like having the flu for 5 months straight.

I wish you a very smooth and easy 2nd and 3rd trimester.

Your little guy likes Coldplay huh? That is cute! My 2 year old is in love with Flynn Rider(Eugene) from Tangled. She calls him O-gene and says she loves him frequently.
2 is such a fun age.

Look at that gorgeous cashew you've got in your tummy!!!! Such happy news and I really do hope you are feeling better now and can enjoy some of the Christmas yummies. Happy birthday to Cooper. What a character - I've really enjoyed watching him grow. I started reading your blog shortly after he was born, I think. I just love his scrunchy smile in your card photo and the girls are looking so grown up, too!! All the best to all of you. I think you may be the only one enjoying a white Christmas. Things are decidedly green and wet here! MWAH!

Congratulations Krista!!!

I actually was just showing your blog to some Azerbaijani friends here (yup. I am STILL here) and they were really impressed with your creations. They make me a bit jealous too! I cannot wait to go return home and start sewing up a storm!
