echino project tote and pouch

I whipped up another Echino project bag and matching zip pouch yesterday. It's been donated for a local silent auction this weekend that will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

I made it completely out of stashed fabrics (linen, Echino, and Dazzle). Unfortunately, I'm down to a yard of linen. What to do? I may have to adjust my promise to abstain from fabric purchasing so that it excludes a few basics. Otherwise, so far, so good!

lovely! I'm always impressed by your productivity! and abstaining from fabric purchasing? I think that would just make me want to buy more, :) I did just remove 2 huge bins of knit fabric from my closet so I could at least find my clothes in the morning. :)

That's a very beautiful bag! I would go and buy some more linen if I were you, it's such wonderful fabric. We have to have certain things in life and clearly linen is yours. Happy shopping!

It's fantastic Krista! I hope that it does really well in the auction. Come on, hold strong!

What kind/brand of linen do you use? I always think your projects are lovely.

I just found your blog today, and you make such lovely things. I know it's not related to this post, but a question about your orange wall-hanging quilt - how did you hang it? I am making a wall quilt and have never hung one before - wondering what works best.

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing more from your blog.
