Yes, I know, I know... Christmas is still three months away.
When I was digging around in my sewing room this morning, I found a bag of scraps that were already backed with fusible web. And I got the urge to revisit my "Be Merry" pennant quilt from last season.
This time I opted for stamping the text instead of stitching it-- what do you think? Better? Worse? Or just different?
I might be making a bunch of different versions for the shop this year. I always have more ideas than I do time, but hey, I'm thinking ahead. So it just might happen this year.

This is very sweet! I love the gingham binding and also the dotted fabric. And the stamped text - I like it!
So cute!
Looks great!! Love the red/white border.

Both are lovely in there own way. Could be priced lower if you stamped it, and given this week's discussion of pricing (Ink & Spindle and Liitle Bluebell blogs) that could be a good thing...
You know I love this design. I can't wait for Christmas just to hang mine up again! I like the scrappy pennants rather than alternating. I prefer the stitched "be merry" or perhaps what I miss is the "be merry" on a curve? I liked that. I completely like this version too and I agree with Doris that stamping could help you with the selling price. There is my two cents.
i love the way the stamped looks on the linen....gorgeous!
it's just gorgeous!!
(and love that binding... so cheery)
this is great! i just love the polkas!
This makes me so happy! I love the stamped letters. Good for you for getting ready for the holidays early!
It's so pretty, and I would love one of my own! But, since you asked, I like the other "be merry" more. I think because it's offset and cursive.
It's lovely! I love it either way, but the stamp is perfect! Such a pretty mini quilt!
This is so adorable - I've been looking for a fairly quick throw to make - this might just be the answer. So simple and cute.
