Once again, she picked all of the fabrics (starting with the brown dotty stripe, because she knew I wanted something that would hide dirt). I think she did a great job!
I used the same messenger bag tutorial from mmmcrafts that I used for Avery's bag. But this time, I used both fusible fleece and an additional fusible interfacing (Pellon Featherweight I think, which isn't very lightweight at all) to give it the extra structure I wanted. I made the bottom deeper as well.
This girl definitely has her own cool style. I just need to figure out a way to stop her from growing up so fast.

This is really cute, Krista! I like her style. She will definitely have the coolest bag at school!
super super cute! I've been meaning to make some little ones for my girls, but you know how long that to-do list can get!
LOVE IT! Miss Claire has some serious style! All the other girls will be jealous of that cool bag! I told myself I wasn't going to make Emma a bag, just a lunchbox, but you have me thinking I should...
gosh that's cute! She certainly does have style :-)
very very cute.
I can tell she has some style :) The bag is very cute!
This bag is awesome! I have been meaning to try this bag out for awhile now.
Thanks for answering my question in regard to the primer you used in you bathroom! I truly appreciate your input!
Well, then that cool bag will go very nicely with the rest of her style! It's awesome!! Great fabric pix, Claire!
The fabrics are gorgeous together - she must have your eye for colour and pattern combinations!
Very cute!! Those kids just have a way of growing up too fast! I want to freeze time for mine, several times over now. :D
Isn't it amazing how fast they grow up? My girl definitely has the same kind of "personal style" as yours. It makes me happy every morning when she gets dressed to see her exerting her independence. :)
her skirt is adorable too!
What a great way to enjoy that Meadowsweet print.
So cute, she made great fabric choices!
