Since it's been awhile, I bring you a photo of our neighborhood moose twins. I took it standing at our front door this morning. I was hoping they would eat the frozen jack-o-lanterns that are still along our walkway from Halloween (whoops) but they stuck to trees.
You didn't think I was making some sort of pregnancy announcement, did you? At this point, with Cooper back to waking up bunches in the middle of the night and getting into EVERYTHING during the day, being pregnant with twins would be my worst nightmare. It's getting really hard to get anything done. With that said, I feel like my creative juices are flowing again! Two not-to-be-revealed-until-later projects are complete, two previous WIPs are in the midst of getting their bindings stitched, and I've cut squares from some of my most coveted fabrics for a family couch quilt. It feels good! So maybe some things are getting done. I suppose that the laundry should be next.

Laundry schmaundry! Chuck the undies in and let'em wear the rest of the stuff twice, I say. You've got sewing to do!
The moose twins are quite something! Are they chasing anyone around, or happy to munch on the trees and mind their own business?
I love seeing the moose pictures! It sounds like you have gotten a ton done!! What are you talking about? I completely understand that it gets harder to get things done. I am definitely down to an hour in the afternoon and after Penny is in bed now. She is way too busy and into things.
Love the moose twins. Even my boys had to come check out the pic! I can't wait to see what you've been working on, too!
we used to have a moose and twin babies in our old neighborhood back when we lived there...they were always amusing to watch. lots of antics.
I've only seen a moose once at Yellowstone - it would be amazing to see these in ones own back yard.
I found your blog from another one I read. I love your red and aqua quilt. I quilt too and have three quilts that need to be finished in 2011. Well maybe two as one is one of those on going types with strips of scraps. I have moose bull twins in my yard. I think they are two years old and then also a cow and yearling calf. I'm in Alaska too south of you. Nan
Such a treat...I cannot imagine seeing anything more than the average grey squirrel. I look forward to seeing your upcoming projects. Enjoy!
love the beasts. Huge.
And love the blocks in your other posts. glad to see the right juices are flowing again! Clean laundry is highly over-rated.
