I wasn't kidding when I said winter was here, was I? We've been getting spurts of snow over the past few days, and luckily it stuck enough for us to take our first family ski.
I did a little bit of sewing too, beyond just bee blocks, for my Trim the Tree Handmade Ornament swap partners. I can't stop making these birds now! I'm making so many, I might even resurrect my etsy shop later this week...
How was your weekend?

well i think our weekend could have been better if we had snow, but you know the whole NY thing!!! my avery and i went and got pedicures this weekend and had a tea party at a tea house with my mom, fun right? i love these birds you made.... a few of them together would make a great mobile.

love your ornaments..your pattern or what?
Skiing??? Wow! Love your birdies.
Look at all that snow! Wow. We fell below 80* and I have been donning a sweater ever since.
Love the birdies.
I've always loved everyone's bird ornaments and never made them. Someday they'll make the time slot. My weekend was busy, but now I feel so relaxed. It's been a good Monday!
eek...I always forget that you're in Alaska until you post something like this. I'm really glad that the snow hasn't arrived yet (although living in AK would be great for year round knitting weather).
I am hoping to do more outdoor winter activities this year like XC skiing and snowshoeing.
And...your birdie ornaments are adorable!
Holy cow, you weren't kidding!!!! Way to have fun with it...
