I made this probably 6 years ago in my single mom days. I had zero money to decorate the house I had just moved into. So I used my scrapbook paper and modpodged it to a big canvas. I had always thought it was kind of cheesy, and even now it's just sitting on a ledge in the basement because I feel weird about putting it up in the parts of the house that people see.
But geez. Today I looked at it differently. What have I been thinking? It looks just like a quilt. A quilt I need to make. Add another one to the list of to-dos...

it looks really cool and it would make a fantastic background from some simple applique shapes....
I love this and wish I had it together to make something for my home. I think you would be surprised, but this is something that would be so nice as a home decoration.
I think it is really really cool. Isn't it funny to look back before you had an interest in something and see how you still had an eye for it all along? Nice to meet you, by the way. I'm in your Honey Bees Quilting Bee, and I just thought I'd come check out the other members. :)
