Hanging Hoop Wall Pocket Swap

I joined one last swap for the fall- my dear friend Amy's Hanging Hoop Wall Pocket Swap. There is a small group of us exchanging some super cool sewing organizers made from the free tutorial here on Sew Daily.

Since we're such a small group, I don't want to give away any hints to my partner about how I chose the fabrics. But I will say that I may have gone a bit more crazy with the patterns than she would prefer. I just couldn't resist mixing some patchwork with that Echino fabric!

We've got snow on the mountains behind our house this morning. How about if we just skip fall and go straight into winter?

And no, I'm not kidding. Break out the hot chocolate and ski boots! I'm ready for it.

I am so very glad that you joined because that is just the best hoop ever. I love it! I can't believe that you already have snow. I had to turn on the heat for the first time today because I realized that I was turning a little purple!

Your hoop is fabu - I'm sure your partner will LOVE IT! I'm with you on the hot chocolate. Sadly, we'll have to live through 2 months of rain before the white stuff falls.

Love the hoop! It's now on my list.

So randoom question - when building your stash of fabric, what yardage of fabric do you usually buy? 1/2 yards? 1 yard? Fat quarters? Obviously if you find something you love, that's different. But just stash builders?

Love this pocket, but I have been trying for several days to access it on SewDaily.com. I have joined, changed my passwords several times and tried asking the contact email for help. All I get are changed password responses. Could someone help me get the pattern? Thanks.
