QuiltCon-- it was the best.
Charlotte and I got back very very late last night. My mind is still processing everything I learned. I'm writing it all down so I don't forget, and will do individual posts on my classes and time with friends throughout this week.
It was just a really incredible experience. I'm so grateful I was able to go.
The exciting tidbit that I will share right now is that two of the quilts that I entered into the show placed for awards. Off the B.O.W. (formerly known as the Big Orange Wall Quilt) placed first in the category Group and Bee Quilts.
Autumn Jewels placed second in the Piecing category.
Both ribbons were quite a shock considering all of the mind-blowing quilts that were there in the show. I can't wait to share pictures of my favorites! Quilters are amazing.
Congratulations! That picture of you two with Off the BOW is awesome.
