She was 6 days late, but then came as quick as can be after just 2 hours at the birth center. 3 hours after that we were home just in time to wake up the kids and say, "We have a surprise upstairs!" Totally fun.
We are just starting to get over the shock of Charlotte not being a boy, as this is the first girl born into Rob's dad's side of the family in 70 years! So far she is so sweet and mellow, and fits into our family so perfectly. I feel strangely back to normal. I really couldn't ask for a better way to grow into a family of six.

ReplyDeleteCONGRATS! I love that you surprised the kids! We did our surprise a bit similar..but we brought home their brother from the NICU when they weren't expecting it. It is a memory I will NEVER forget!
