Fun Friday News

I got word earlier this week that my two entries were accepted into the Modern Quilt Guild Showcase this November! I'm still in a bit of shock-- only 33 quilts will be in the exhibit, and I know of so many other incredible quilts that were submitted and deserved to be in the show.

I know it's a ways off, but if any of you go to the International Quilt Festival, I'd love to see photos of the exhibit! I doubt that I'll be able to make it with a newish baby at home.

What do you have in store for the weekend? I'll admit I'm a little wiped out right now, but hopefully I can get some things crossed off a very long to do list.

    Congratulations, Krista! I love both these quilts and I think they're a great representation of modern quilting!

    My weekend started with my five-year-old saying, "Mommy, can we start the day off with some sewing?" We're making a quilt for her model dinosaur.
