and it's done (hot and cold)

Thank you so much for the encouragement to get my Hot and Cold quilt done! I finished it up yesterday afternoon, took the photos today, and finally got everything submitted for the show. Phew! Now I just get to wait and see if it makes it in. Regardless, I had fun making this.

After all of that work, I'm finally going to get some time to relax. We're headed out on a much-needed family vacation where I'm hoping to meet up with this lovely lady. (As always, our dogs and burly housesitter will be here protecting my fabric stash, so don't worry.) I'll have a couple of posts lined up to share while I'm gone. See you back here soon!

    It's absolutely gorgeous. Love the quilting. It's simple but it really brings out the colours and shapes. Just gorgeous.
